WORLD  FOOD  CELEBRATION
Thursday 30 November

Thank you to all the families who contributed to the cuisine on this day of culinary exploration.

All children had a wonderful journey across the world. Our children had the pleasure of tasting foods from other countries and our own.

ü      Breanna and Connor brought fried potatoes from Germany

ü      Brianna provided fried rice all the way from China

ü      Sam brought spaghetti bolognaise from Italy

ü      Hayden brought Irish meatloaf and mash

ü      Rebecca travelled all the way from England with her scones and jam

ü      Isabella and Samuel added to the Christmas feel with some Christmas cut Scottish shortbread.

ü      Ned and Grace brought spinach and fetta pastry triangles from Greece

ü      Gabrielle brought in some good old Aussie sausage rolls

ü      Dylan, Alexanda and Patrick provided Hungarian beef goulash

ü      Izabella and Aesha picked some tropical bananas to share

So thank you again to all those who gave to our children

 Experimenting with new tastes is always a challenge, and with the assistance from these willing families we have gained valuable insight into what new foods to try on our menu that are representative of our families cultures.
