Frequently Asked Questions:

When are tuition fees due?
- Tuition is billed weekly in arrears and is payable on receipt of your weekly fee reminder.

How much do I owe again?
- Tuition rates are on the website on the “Tuition & Fees” page. You will receive a weekly fee reminder which details the amount owing. 

What if I’m running late at pick up time?
- Please call the preschool and let us know, if possible. You may want to call and see if another parent from preschool would be willing to watch your child for a few minutes until you arrive. (That person needs to be authorized to pick up your child.) If you are unable to find anyone when you arrive you will pick up your child from the preschool office. Please remember that there is a charge of $2 per minute after 5.30pm that you are late.  

After repeated late pickups or excessive periods of time, We are required to consult with the Department of Community Services regarding the viability of the child's continued care.

What’s the best way to provide feedback to the Southern Highlands Childcare?
- We want to hear from you --- parent comments are critical to our improvement. The Southern Highlands Centre has a Suggestion Box in the foyer to allow parents to share any recommendations or concerns they may have. Parents have the option to make their recommendations or concerns confidential or can have them shared with the individuals involved.
